Tiaras are a bit too “blingy” for your wedding? How about a more boho approach? Floral crowns are the perfect mix of nature and elegance. Some brides don’t feel comfortable wearing a veil as they feel it suffocates them, so a simple headpiece still gives the bride a glamorous feel. Most florists will now make these floral crowns to order and, depending on which season your ceremony falls in to, you could have beautiful roses, lilies or smaller sunflower buds placed on top over your neat up-do or mermaid curls. Floral crowns allow an air of creativity and customisability to your day – don’t like that flower there? Move it! It’s that simple. Why not have a few of your wedding party round for a few drinks, a quick catch up and all make floral crowns together? Imagine the look on a little flower girl’s face when you can give her her very own, bespoke, circlet of bright and striking flowers. Check out my favorite styles below...

"I love being part of such an important occasion, and feel it is important to have confidence in your appearance in order to feel relaxed. With my professional but friendly approach, I'll make you feel at ease and look your best! I offer a personal mobile wedding service which comes in two parts; the makeup trial and the wedding day. On the date of your trial (4-8 weeks before the big day) I will come to a place of your convenience where we will discuss your tastes and wedding inspiration before having a play with a few products and trying out different looks until we reach one that you are 100% happy with. On the wedding day, I will arrive with my kit fully prepared to make you look and feel beautiful! I'll be there until you leave for your ceremony, ready for any necessary touch ups. I offer my makeup services to your entire bridal party (both the trial and on the wedding day) for an extra fee per person. Please get in touch to enquire!"
Hello lovelies, Today my good friend Natalie will be giving you guys some advice on how to take care of your skin leading up to your big day. A certified and trained beautician, Natalie has seen it all... and has taken the time to share with you all the secrets of the trade! Enjoy & over to Natalie... "Your wedding day is the happiest day of your life, any bride would want everything to be perfect from the dress all the way down to the photographs. A wedding photograph is a snapshot of the happiness and love you feel on that perfect day and will stay with you forever. Therefore it is important for you to be looking as happy and as healthy as possible. Nobody wants a photo of them with bad skin making them look sad and sallow. Your skin portrays your inner health and happiness and bad skin screams 'I don't care about my skin and I don't look after it'. This can be changed weather you suffer from dryness, redness, or even acne a few simple changes can make you skin shout 'look at me I'm healthy' not just for your big day but for life. Saving FaceLooking after your skin needn’t be time consuming of expensive. You can achieve beautiful skin just by following a few simple steps, brides should start thinking about following these step at least five months before to give a flawless complexion and avoid nasty acne ruining your day. 1. Daily Cleansing Cleanse the skin morning and night, for the morning a single cleanse will suffice but for the night time double cleanse your skin. The first cleanse will remove surface dirt and makeup but the second clean will give a deep clean to the skin and makes all the difference. A great cleanser to try is Liz Earle Hot Polish Cleanser which is suitable for all skin types and gently exfoliates the skin on a daily basis. 2. Moisturising It is important to moisturise according to your skin type both day and night. For an oily skin type use a water based moisturiser which will avoid adding extra oil to the skin and making it look greasy, for an added boost try one that give skin a matt texture (Clarins Hydra-Matte Lotion). If you have a drier skin type choose a moisturiser that is oil based as this will boost the skins natural oil levels (Guinot Hydra Beaute Long Lasting Moisture). At night you should use a moisturiser designed to give the skin moisturisation without clogging up the pores and allowing the skin to breathe. 3. Exfoliation Exfoliating helps shed the top layer of the skin revealing a fresh new face underneath literally. As always your skin type is key to how many time per week it can be done. For oily skin types once a week is a maximum as exfoliation to much can strip the skin on natural oils making it produce more so easy does it. For dry skin types two to three times a week is perfect. We recommend St Ives Apricot Scrub. 4. Weekly Treats Each week its time to bring in the bosses at treating minor skin concerns these can be at home mask or salon treatments depends what you prefect there are plenty on masks that work wonders on skin. Again choose these according to your skin type or how your skin has been throughout the week. For oily skin a great on is Clarins pure and radiant mask, if your skin is on the dryer side or has been feeling a little dehydrated why not try Liz Earle intensive moisture mask. A great power house salon treatment which works wonders for all skin type and will give you a complexion to envy is microdermabrasion, this treatment is of an average price and most salons now offer this great treatment. The treatment can be done as much as one a week and will exfoliate the skin without causing irritation to even the more sensitive skins, average price of the treatment is £30 per hour to hour and a half but is usually available as a pre purchase block where you can get a discount.
